Look at the glaring irony here. The previous post was about keeping this blog alive and here I am only writing a new post after...2 months? Blame it on me? Blame it on society! We live in a society so competitive and so unforgiving that even the slightest mistake can cost you a lot. And as most of us cannot afford that cost, we have no choice but to continue striving and competing for perfection because anything less is unacceptable...in our society. And it is this very perfection that is the root of everything. From me not blogging, to the kind of posts I write, to my way of thinking and my perception of our society.

Why am I not blogging? Because there is simply nothing to blog about. Every time I try to blog about a flaw or loophole present in our society, it will be simply resolved before I could even construct my post. The draft I wrote to rant on the increasing number of stray cats...lets just say the cats disappeared faster than I could draft out my post.

And why are my posts always so lacking in enthusiasm? Because I see no point in having a blog. Honestly, how influential can blogs be? Even the local celebrity bloggers can only complain about their life, upload a few pictures and that is about it. Sure, they get the views, they get the comments, so what? Who really takes them seriously? If I start ranting on politics, flaws with the education system, pressure teenagers are facing...will my posts ever be entertained? And really...active bloggers never talks or read politics on blogs because they find it a real turn-off.

Guess what? I have to write to the forums to share my viewpoints on politics because teenagers...forget it. I can continue ranting and sharing my views but no one is ever going to read it. Maybe my teacher will but thats all the attention I get.



For someone like me who is forced by society to spend everyday pursuing perfection and leave no time and attention for things like blogging, blogging is meaningless because I do not even have the time to do it. And problems are always resolved so quickly rants are useless. And all those other bloggers out there spends their time doing nonsense instead of contributing. They have the viewers! But what do they do with it? Nothing!

P.S But then again...they have the viewers because they did nonsense...
